Hello again at hyper 7.Basil Nikitaras.ran my hyper 7 again today at my local hobby shop track.i was eager to see how the buggy performed after the diff rebuilds and the installations of the 20mm big bore shocks......it was awesome!!The buggy performed so well that it gave me confidence to lean it out and really put in some quick laps.the big bore shocks with the grey springs made landing off the jumps so easy.they just launched effortlessy and had plush landings, without bouncing around so i didn't have to brake much at all.then i could power in and out if the corners with the handling feeling supreme!!i used the 30wt shock oil that came with the 4 shock kit and helped me understand that using travel of the whole shock shaft off of jumps, without bottoming out is what they are designed for.the xtra-large size absorbed all the impact and kept the buggy planted and grounded for easy throttle on acceleration.when i had my old shocks i had a really thick oil in them and the bounced around and looked erratic...much more control with the thinner oil and larger diameter big bores!my engine(hyper 21,3 port)continued to perform well for the entire day.I used a hotter glow plug from the recommendation of a fellow club member and the increase in performance was felt with the snap out of turns and mid-range power and speed down the straight.I still want to master the full tuning potentialof having three needles and the idle for optimum performance for the indoor carpet track that i'm a member of.temping is really good now thanx to my Spektrum DX3S with the telemetry.got s new j-concepts body coming from America soon, pre painted from a guy at kustom r/c graphicsI'll post pics as soon as i trim and decal the body.Does anybody know where I can get a hyper 7 t.q. decal set without the body?.it would finish off the job properly.well thanx for tuning in and i'll give you another report next run!!Thanx,Basil
